I just love the Eglu and so do my three Bantams, its so easy to use and clean and is not only fox proof , its Retired Racing Greyhound and Skye Terrier proof. To anyone thinking of buying one or wether you can justify keeping chickens, don't think about it , just do a google image search for caged hens then you have No justification for NOT buying one or keeping hens Brilliant product ,innovative , helpful friendly company , the worm composter will be joining my eglu early spring next year

Very pleased with the eglu as a complete beginner to keeping chickens. I am so surprised how excited I am every time I find a fresh egg. I haven't yet mastered moving the eglu - it is very heavy so i don't move it as often as I would like. It is difficult to reach inside the run to add extra containers for food to keep them out of the reach of the puppy! Though you say the chickens would be perfectly happy inside the run all day they are jolly keen to come out and I am glad I bought the extension kit.

One small fault, bar and pin difficult to operate successfully.

We think the Eglu Classic is a great home for our two new chickens, it is a good size, looks great in the garden, and seems easy to maintain and keep clean. The two doors are easy for my 3 year old son to open and close when checking for eggs and opening it up to let the girls out in the mornings, and the droppings tray is easy to remove to sweep into the compost heap. The glug and grub containers are good too - I like the way they hang off the ground on the run. The only negative I would add is that I find it much more difficult to move the whole thing around to give the grass a rest than the description suggests.

brilliant for cleaning out, easy to move around the lawn, the feeding and water baskets are excellent and the hens are happy. We thought it was expensive but now think it was really good value as it makes keeping our chickens so easy and enjoyable.

The Eglu is ideal for someone who wants to keep just a few chickens and we are very happy with ours now that our birds have arrived and are using it. I gave four stars instead of five as I feel there is one point that may be improved to make it perfect . When I needed to get access to the inside of the run near the entrance to the hen house I realised that the only way in is through a very small door at the opposite end of the run. This means a struggle to get through the door and then crawling the full length of the run (which could turn out to be a very messy businness!) I think the solution may be a hatch in the run side panel nearest to the henhouse that will allow access to this area from outside. I am looking at ways to consrtuct this hatch and will post a photo if I come up with a solution.

This is a great chicken house. It is SO easy to clean that, looks great and appears to keep the girls warm and dry (needed at the moment) The run is easy to put together but I would like there to be a side door on it as well as an end door to allow more siting options. The feeder / drinker is a decent size and easy to attach, detach and clean. Overall very happy with my Eglu

Your delivery driver did a great job of assembling the eglu in the rain, explaining how it all worked and offering general tips on buying and looking after bantams. It looks good in the garden, is easy to keep clean and provides a safe and weatherproof home for Snowy, Viv and Colin.

If you only want to keep a few chickens - I have two - I would say an Eglu is the best chicken coop available . Being entirely made of plastic it's very durable, well-insulated, easy to keep clean and move around the garden. The delivery driver was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, setting it all up in my garden and giving me lots of useful advice and tips on keeping chickens.

Very well designed and easy to assemble. Keeps very clean. Hens seem very happy!
