The Eglu Classic is excellent for a small garden (it also looks very attractive). We house 3 Pekin chickens in the Eglu and the 3m run. It is easy to collect the eggs through the side door and easy to keep clean. The canopy is proving to be very popular with our chickens as it has never stopped raining since they arrived!! At least they can sit outside under shelter. The only negative point is that it does not come with a bar for the chickens to perch on. We have made our own by threading a pole through the wire run and consequently are chickens are much happier to be able to perch off the ground. However, apart from this slight design fault, our chickens love their Eglu and we have recommended it to lots of our friends.

We have had our eglu for 5years now and it is brilliant. Still looks as good as new and ever so easy to clean. We have had additional wooden coups in the meantime that have come and gone due not withstanding the weather, and letting in red mite. When we downsized our flock (or the fox did as they free range most of the time) we sold one of the Eglus near to its purchase price- 2years on, so we were very pleased. We would never be able to sell on a wooden coup for much at all. If they were cheaper I would buy another one now!

I'd coveted Eglu's for years but could only take the plunge when I recently moved and had appropriate space for one. I don't have a lawn to move the the Classic around on (as I turned the entire garden over to fruit and veg) but it's working perfectly on a bed of wood chips which I replace and compost monthly. My girls seem very happy and were producing an egg a day each within 2 weeks of delivery. Thank you Omlet.

Very nice product . Enjoying looking after hens for the very first time

A brilliant design, so easy to clean and move around the garden. My chickens seem very happy with it. They seem to cope with sharing only one nesting box, only once so far have they needed to lay an egg at the same time as one was left on the roosting bar and one in the nest.

We are very happy with our eglu, really easy to clean. Only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is because of the high price.

Very easy to clean and chickens seem very happy in it. I'd always been put off keeping chickens until I saw this. We have our eglu and run on a bark base which the chickens like to scratch around it. We do let them out of the run everyday though as I'd be worried they'd get bored in the run all day.

My husband received this for his birthday, it was a complete surprise to him, it arrived on the day early in the morning which was good he was shocked but is really thrilled with it!! thank you

The eglu is perfect. just the right size for both the hens and for our modest garden. They love it and I even had an egg om the first day they moved in. Thank you.
